ABOUT ME
Hi everyone! Welcome to my webpage. I am George and I absolutely love chess.
I was born in August 2013 in Westminster, UK.
Inspired by my brother who was the school chess captain, I started playing chess just before the age of 6, and it sparked a fiery passion within me. I won my first major tournament within just a month, a UK Chess Challenge Megafinal! Ever since, my journey in chess has continued to strengthen.
MY CHESS CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
I have won multiple major tournaments, including the British Junior Chess Championships in the Under 8, Under 10 and Under 12 sections, Junior Rapid and Blitz championships and the UK Chess Challenge Terafinal, which is the final stage of the world's largest chess competition.
I was first selected to represent England in 2020 at the age of six, and have since represented England on many occasions.
I achieved the title of "Candidate Master" in 2024.
